Adult Ballet

Background in dancing is not required for Adult Ballet classes, since classical ballet techniques can be applied at later ages.

Adult Ballet classes take place once a week in sessions lasting 1 hour.

Ballet exercises boost an individual’s awareness of their own body at any stage of life. Systemic correction of postural disorders automatizes the correct postural position in the body, while accelerating blood circulation and the digestive system. Postural disorders that remain untreated result in fatigue, headache, chronic muscular rigidity and back pains.

Those who are engaged in other genres of dance and willing to add the aesthetics and flexibility of classical ballet to their performance; people who previously took but did not complete their ballet training; and people who have never studied ballet before can attend the Adult Ballet classes.

Adult Ballet students can also prepare for the exams within the scope of the Royal Academy of Dance certificate program at the appropriate level by improving their knowledge and skills. There is no upper age limit for taking the exams in the Royal Academy of Dance program.

Private lessons may also be organized in addition to group classes.
