Ages 6-16, Technical Classes

Students are placed in technical classes from 6 years of age, by reviewing their physical eligibility and determining their level of ballet experience, if they have performed before.

Classes are offered twice a week in one-hour sessions until the 2nd technical grade, and in three-hour sessions in the 3rd technical grade, two hours for Classical Ballet and one hour for Jazz Dance. Character Dances are added to these lessons starting from technical 4th grade.

In Tan Sağtürk Academy, ballet education is carried out together as the Royal Academy of Dance certificate program and the MoNE (Ministry of National Education) program. Undergoing the two-year preparatory program, eight years of technical education and four years of advanced education, our students complete their mandatory internship in our schools and qualify for an instructor’s diploma certified by MoNE (Ministry of National Education). They will be entitled to work as instructors and open schools with this diploma. Advanced classes involve repertory studies on major ballet pieces and neoclassical pieces. Students aspiring to pursue an artistic career may join our team as colleagues.
