Opened in 2006 based on the experience of Tan Sağtürk, our Founder and Executive Art Director, who represented our country nationally and internationally for long years, Tan Sağtürk Academy Yeşilyurt continues to serve under the license of the Ministry of Education, boasting a team of Conservatory-trained instructors, who have proven themselves across various art platforms, and the State Opera and Ballet artists.
Our school is one of the representatives of London College of Music (LCM) in Turkey. Attending the examinations supervised by officials from the UK every year, our students obtain the right to the internationally-recognized “LCM Music High School” certificate after taking the designated tests for each grade.
In the end-of-year dance events entitled “A Midsummer Night's Dream”, our students not only showcase their prowess, a fruit of a-year-long efforts, before their family, but also enjoy a truly exciting stage experience. We annually arrange culture and art visits to the European capitals of culture at our school in order to help train the future art enthusiasts..
As of the 2019-2020 academic year, we have started to run the Royal Academy of Dance Certification Program at Tan Sağtürk Academy, in addition to our own curriculum. This training system allows the graduates of Tan Sağtürk Academy to become ballet instructors both certified by the Ministry of Education and the internationally-recognized Royal Academy of Dance.
